WELCOME:

 

the organic Fattoria "Le Pici" is a big, old rural house, renovated with care and passion by the present owner, Britta Lüneburg: it is surrounded by hills covered with olive trees and finest quality vineyards.

 

Since 1989 it offers its guests the opportunity to stay, throughout the year, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Tuscan countryside: the land of Chianti (la strada del Chianti).

 

Eight cosy and perfectly furnished apartments, also offer the guests a pleasant private outside space.

 

Moreover we offer two beautiful and big halls, "Danza" and "Teatro" to anyone who wishes to take part in particular events (groups, training or one-day meetings) such as dance, meditation or creative activities

Those participating in these activities of “Associazione Le Pici” can enjoy the typical food prepared in our Trattoria.

 

OUR STORY:

 

when Günnar Lüneburg was only eight and living in Copenhagen, he was already dreaming of the hills of Tuscany. In his early twenties, life brought him to Italy where he soon settled with his family.

By the early 1960’s he purchased "Le Pici", a beautiful farm in the middle of Chianti Classico with vines and olive trees which he tended with great care to produce fine wines and olive oil.

Today his daughter, Britta, manages "Le Pici" according to organic traditions both in farming and in renovating the local "casolari".
